Gin Miller was recently honored in a ceremony recognizing pioneers and leaders in fitness.
Inductees into the 2006 National Fitness Hall of Fame include Gin Miller, Tony Little, Kathy Smith, Richard Simmons, Jake Steinfeld, Bonnie Prudden, Donna Richardson Joyner, Margaret Richard, Dr. Steven Blair, Dr. Bob Golden, Ben Weider, Robert Kennedy, and Marilu Henner.
Fitness organizations also inducted include ACSM, AFAA, and the YMCA. Also recognized – Bally’s Total Fitness and York Barbell Company.
This is the National Fitness Organization’s second year of recognizing the pioneers in Fitness. The 2005 inductees included Jack LaLanne, Judi-Sheppard Missett, Joe Weider, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Vic Tanny, Dr. Kenneth Cooper, MD, Charles Atlas, Arthur Jones, Bernarr McFadden, Bob Hoffman, Dr. Paul Bragg, PhD, and Jane Fonda.
